What you will need:

  • Empty cereal boxes x 2/3 or any other cardboard boxes

  • Glue

  • Scissors /x-acto knife

  • Paint

  • Foil

Steps:

  • Cut one of the large panels off one of your cereal boxes and this will form the base of the cityscape. (Any other durable box would also work)

  • Paint this base black

  • Open up the second cereal box so it is flat.

  • Using a stencil online or free hand, draw 3 different city scapes, each slightly shorter than the other. Each city scape should be the width of your base box and leave a little extra on either end which we will use as flaps to attach the scenes to the base box.

  • Paint each of the city scape scenes. For an added effect alternate the color used for each city scape.

  • Fold over the extra side flap on either side of your city scapes.

  • Glue these flaps and attach each scape in the base box, starting with the tallest.

  • Cut a circle from foil and glue on for the moon

  • Draw stars using a marker.
